Kathy Castelletti is a native to the Scranton area and found her calling to practice Reiki after having one treatment herself to help combat anxiety and stress. “It’s as though a giant weight was lifted from my shoulders and I was able to breathe again, she said. I know that if it worked for me it can work for others as well.” Being taught by Reiki Masters from Argentina and New York, Kathy would like to share this beautiful gift with you. Reiki is a technique of a very gentle, healing and loving touch that provides optimum relaxation to help heal, balance and revitalize the mind, body and spirit. Reiki means ‘Universal Life Force’ and is believed to have originated in Tibet thousands of years ago. Kathy is a Reiki Master at Bella Natura, an organic salon. She will be giving explanations and information on the art of Reiki for First Friday. (Mind)

download_smallDavid Jennings of Massage in Scranton will be joining Art Seen this First Friday and giving chair massages for a small fee. Massage therapy has always been a passion of his. He has been fortunate enough to experience many types and styles of massages. He has incorporated an eclectic approach to his practice. When a person comes for a massage, they can be assured of a strong, deep, relaxing massage. His massage style is slow and deep. Many people zone out in a deep state of relaxation. The massage you receive from him is never rushed or hurried. A professional massage reduces the lactic acid build up in our muscles, and relieves stress and tension from everyday life. If you are looking to maintain the quality of life or if you are feeling tired, sore, or stressed out, massage therapy will help as a natural way to find the balance you need. David is a certified licensed massage therapist and a registered nurse and has studios located in Dunmore, Scranton, Moosic, and Clarks Summit and he has a mobile out call service.(Body)

Rose Stone and is an artist at the gallery as well as being a Tarot Card Reader for over 40 years in the Gurdjieff and Ouspensky methods. Rose has graciously offered to give free 10 minute readings for First Friday on a first come/first served basis. (Spirit)

imageBrianna Cook will be playing a repertoire of soothing music on her guitar and singing for First Friday. Brianna has been in love with music since she was born and she danced around the house daily singing songs from Britney Spears and The Backstreet Boys. At the age of 13, she started taking music seriously when she received her first guitar for Christmas. She taught herself how to play acoustic guitar and has also learned to play the ukulele. She is currently learning to play piano. Throughout high school she was a part of Advanced Chorus, and dance and sang in the Knight Rhythms Show Choir in many competitions for Scranton High School. What she loves most is learning to play instruments, singing, and writing her own music. She has played at weddings and different venues.
