First Friday Scranton Invitational
October 3 – 4, 2014
The Leonard, previously known as the Moonshine Theater, will play host to First Friday Scranton’s first community invitational. This exhibition will be on display October 3 and October 4. There will be an opening reception on First Friday, October 3^rd from 6 to 9PM. This event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will also be open Saturday, October 4 from 11-3PM.
The invitational will feature two and three dimensional work of 14 talented, local artists including Alexander Lee Seeley, Amy Wyman, Becca Jett, Colleen Phillips, Daniel Laffey, Emily Taylor, Jeremy Ladner, Maria Grzybowski, Marissa Gable, Michael Swanson, Sam Barrese, Sara Cortazar, Sean Costello, and Travis Prince with awards presented for “Best In Show” and two Honorable Mentions. Musical entertainment will be provided by Doug Smith. Awards. The evening will also feature the presentation of the second round of First Friday’s Judith Youshock Artists’ Grants.
